Brown Page Content 1Application TimelineMost students entering the dual-degree program will begin in the Fall semester.Brown School MSW students with Advanced Standing status have a modified application and program timeline and should note the modified application and program timeline.Application & Scholarship ProcessThe application for admission is used to determine merit-based scholarship awards; there is no separate scholarship application. Application Timeline for Second-Year Brown School Students and Global Partner Students: Application Opens in October Application Review begins November 1 Early Action: Apply by December 1. Applicants submitting by the early action priority deadline will receive admission and scholarship decisions beginning in January, and no later than February 1. Second-year Brown School and global partner university students are strongly encouraged to apply by December 1. Regular Decision: Apply by March 1. Confirm Intent to Enroll: By April 15. Admitted students must confirm their intent to enroll by submitting a $200 tuition deposit. International admitted students must submit their Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCOF) to confirm intent to enroll. Application Timeline for All Other Applicants:Application Opens in October Application Review begins November 1 Priority Consideration: Apply by December 15Regular Decision: Apply by March 1Rolling Admissions: Apply after March 1. Decisions for admissions and scholarship are made based on availability. Confirm Intent to Enroll: By May 1. Admitted students must confirm their intent to enroll by submitting a $200 tuition deposit. Students enrolling in the MSW/MSP or MPH/MSP dual-degree program need only submit one deposit.Financial Aid Process(U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible non-U.S. citizens) Complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): After October 1. Complete the FAFSA by March 1 to be eligible for a Federal Work-Study award.
