MPH Dual- or Joint-Degree Seeking Applicants
Working in partnership with other schools and programs at Washington University in St. Louis, the Brown School offers structured
dual and joint-degree programs that allow you to earn a Master of Public Health degree in combination with another graduate degree in a variety of disciplines including social work, business, occupational therapy, medicine and anthropology.
Separate applications are required for each program and are reviewed independently according to each program’s unique admissions criteria. (NOTE: The MPH/MD and MPH/PhD in Anthropology joint degrees are only available to those already enrolled in School of Medicine or The Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.)
Please review all admissions requirements and deadlines associated with the programs to which you are applying. Students applying to for the dual MSW/MPH within the Brown School must apply to the social work and public health programs separately. MSW application requirements can be found

Joint-degree applicants for the following must apply to the joint program through the appropriate Washington University School:
Current Washington University graduate students enrolled in the MSW, MBA, or MSOT program wishing to add the MPH should apply through
SOPHAS Express.
Washington University medical students or PhD students in Anthropology wishing to add the MPH must also apply through
SOPHAS Express. (Note: MD/MPH joint-degree program is available only to current third-year WUSM students.)
