Yellow Ribbon Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefits
The Brown School is a full partner in the Yellow Ribbon Post-9/11 GI Bill Benefit.
Annually, the Brown School and the VA work together to cover 100% of tuition costs for up to 10 students eligible for Yellow Ribbon benefits and provide support for students who are eligible for other VA education benefits.

Veteran student groups, such as WUVETS, provide camaraderie and support at the Brown School and across campus. In 2017, under the executive leadership of two Brown School students, WUVETS was named Chapter of the Year by the Students Veterans of America, a national organization that provides resources and scholarships to college veterans. The Office of Military and Veterans Services (OMVS) works to advocate and support student veterans throughout their degree programs. In addition to their advocacy work, OMVS hosts programming (such as a Veterans Day Celebration) and offers training for faculty and staff (including a Veteran Ally training).
