Gene and Connie Kahn have generously established a five-year, $250,000 challenge grant to encourage increased gifts to the Annual Fund at the Brown School. Each year, tuition and income from endowments cover only a portion of the university’s operating revenue. The Annual Fund is essential to help bridge this gap and provide discretionary funds to be used directly by the Dean.
The Kahn Family Challenge benefits students in both the Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health programs and supports the goals of Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University.
The Kahn Family Challenge will match all new and increased Annual Fund gifts and multi-year commitments to the Brown School, up to $50,000 per year for five years. Gifts and pledges designated for this purpose will qualify for a generous two-to-one match.

There are many ways to make a contribution to the University or to the Brown School. Large or small, any gift can make an impact.
