Information for Brown School Visitors

Prospective Student Visitors

We truly regret that we are temporarily discontinuing our in-person, individualized campus-visit program, effective immediately. We will reassess after April 30, and respond in compliance with the university’s updated visitor policy.

Instead, we will focus on offering opportunities to have alternative, virtual conversations (Zoom, Skype or phone). If you are interested in one of these conversations, please contact admissions@brownschool.wustl.edu

If you have an existing appointment scheduled, you will be contacted by our Admissions office to see if you would like to translate this into a virtual visit.

For additional questions focused on our recently admitted students, please visit FAQ for Prospective, Admitted and Incoming Students.

Thank you for your support as we find new ways to showcase our campus to prospective students.

Events On and Off Campus

In keeping with recommended restrictions on events and gatherings, university events are being postponed, canceled or move to a virtual format. If you still have a reason to be on campus, you must comply with the following guidelines.

Visitors who have been in locations with an elevated risk of COVID-19 exposure within the past 14 days are not allowed to visit campus. In addition, visitors who have had direct contact with a patient confirmed to have COVID-19 or with someone who is under care for suspected exposure are not allowed to visit campus or attend events within 14 days of such contact.

Learn more about the status of specific events on the calendar here.

Professional Development Attendees

Washington University is enacting a distance learning policy impacting all Professional Development workshops March 13-April 30.

We are currently working with individual instructors to determine whether each class will be postponed or offered as scheduled in an online format. We will contact individuals registered for each class as plans are made regarding their workshops.

Our expectation is that meetings of Intensive Training Institutes and Post-Master’s Certificates will be held online. The timing and format may be modified to accommodate the formats.

As our plans become clear for each offering, we will communicate proactively with registrants.
