The Lancet Series on Gender Equality, Norms and Health

Add to Calendar
Hillman Hall, Clark-Fox Forum

The recently published Lancet Series on gender and health offers new perspectives and evidence on the impact of gender inequalities and norms on health, and the actions that everyone can take to achieve equality in the sustainable development goals era. Please join Washington University authors Jessica Levy and Lindsay Stark, additional Series authors, and regional experts to discuss the findings, and share ideas on how to advance an action and accountability agenda to achieve gender equality, globally and locally.

Join us for a half day event that kicks off with opening remarks from Provost Marion Crain and Dean Mary McKay, followed by ‘TED-style’ talks presenting the five papers comprising the Series. A moderated panel of regional policy makers and practitioners will then speak to the ways in which the themes highlighted in the Series resonate and are relevant in their work locally
