Due to the topic of this presentation, the lecture or question & answer section may include sexually explicit content that is appropriate only for mature audiences.

The ability to talk with clients about their sex lives is a critical skill for social workers and others in the helping professions, as well as sexuality educators. Attitudes about sex and how people have sex have implications for how they connect in other aspects of life. This talk will examine how racism, sexism, or homophobia is hurtful to all, as even the perpetrator of oppression suffers general adaptation syndrome from the harm that they create.
