Working-age Americans with disabilities are half as likely to be in the U.S. workforce as their nondisabled peers. These disparities are a function of policies, practices and misperceptions that present significant challenges to people with disabilities to gain equitable access to employment. This presentation provides information on how organizations can significantly heighten the likelihood of successfully recruiting, hiring, retaining, and advancing individuals with disabilities to address these challenges.

This program is part of the Inclusive Perspectives series, which shares lived experience, practitioner expertise, and research findings regarding inclusion of people with disabilities.
