Presented by:
Susan Stiritz, PhD
Professor of the Practice, Brown School

Many organizations that provide services to older adults completely fail to acknowledge that sexuality is an inherent part of being human – sometimes with devastating consequences for the physical and emotional well-being of the people the organizations exist to serve. Join this conversation to consider how a sex positive approach can be applied to services for older adults, including residents of independent and assisted living. We will review research demonstrating that consensual and satisfying physical and relationship intimacy supports the total health and emotional well-being of older adults.

This program is part of the Brown School Curriculum Showcase.
