Sunghei Han

Sunghei Han has over 20 years of practice and research experience working in non-profit management, higher education, and community engagement.

A passion for culture, education, and diversity with a global perspective has consistently shaped her work. This led to several diverse roles: manager of Worldways Children’s Museum and Kids Around the World; ethnic community mediator for the International Institute of St. Louis; and administrator of the  International English Language Test System (IELTS) center at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

A Brown School alum (MSW ‘03), Han returned to our community in 2016. In her recent role as manager of operations, she quickly adapted to sustain the school’s level of excellence and provide operational oversight in a remote climate. Han exhibits her engagement with Washington University beyond the Brown School through advising and serving on various committees. She serves in a leadership role of APIDA Staff and Faculty Affinity Group, and as a Neighborhood Care Liaison, advising off-campus students through community programs how to navigate the tools and resources to enhance their quality of life.
