Brown Page Content 1New Student Orientation & International Student Orientation Save the date for the mandatory New Student Orientation program from August 17-21, 2020. International students must also attend International Student Orientation on August 13 & 14.Registration for Orientation will open in July 2020. Students will receive an email invitation at their @wustl email address with specific registration instructions. Registration for Orientation is required, and certain events require additional sign-up (e.g. Faculty Lunch). All students are required to attend Orientation, with specific attention to the full day of programming (9:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.) and optional evening-reception. Online OrientationBrown Online Orientation is designed to introduce you to a selection of Brown School- and University-based resources and policies. Online orientation is divided into modules which live on an online learning platform called Canvas. You will complete the modules at your own pace and in any order you like. At the end of each module, you will be asked to complete a knowledge check to review what you've learned. Additional information will be sent in July 2020. International Student OrientationA mandatory International Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14. International students should plan to arrive in St. Louis at least one week prior to this date in order to check in at Washington University’s Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS).
