Brown Page Content 1Student Identification CardYour Washington University Student ID card is used for many purposes, including: checking out library materials; accessing certain academic buildings after hours; signing-in at Student Health Services; entering the Sumers Recreation Center; attending certain University events; and riding University Shuttle busses or MetroLink with U-Pass. Students may also wish to deposit money into a Bear Bucks account – a cashless system that allows students to use their ID cards to make purchases on and off campus.The University offers the opportunity to have your card prepared in advance and issued to you when you arrive at Orientation. If interested in this service, you must submit a photo in advance. Your photo must adhere to the following specifications:Standard wallet-sized color photoSaved in the .jpg file format; no larger than 35 MBOriginal file; please no scanned copiesFace-forward perspective on a plain, light background works bestPhoto must be saved using the following naming format: FirstName_LastName, Date of Birth.jpgPhotos must be submitted no later than July 26, 2020.SUBMIT YOUR PHOTO: Attach your photo in a message to this email address. They will be submitted into a secure cloud storage.If you choose not to submit a photo by the deadline or if the file you submit cannot be used, you will obtain your student ID and have your photo taken during New Student Orientation in the office of Campus Card Services.If you have any questions about submitting your student identification photo, please email the Office of the Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
