If you are unable to visit us on campus, there are various ways you can get a virtual look at the brown school community. 

Book a virtual visit: We will customize your visit to include virtual meetings with an admissions specialist, current student, faculty member, financial services or field education representative, and more. You can also request to sign up for an upcoming live, guided virtual tour or sit in on an online class if scheduling allows. Book your visit. 

Watch a video tour:  For a quick glimpse of our campus and facilities on your own time, check out this tour filmed by a few of our former Student Ambassadors.  You can also see the full university campus in this video tour from Washington University undergraduate admissions. 

Be a student in our “Open Classroom”: Our Open Classroom initiative came about during the start of the pandemic, when the Brown School wanted to offer at-home learning to those in our community, at no cost. We currently have more than 100 recorded sessions available, led by our faculty members, staff, alums and community partners on topics that bridge social work, public health and social policy–and more live sessions take place often. These courses can offer an idea of the caliber of research and commitment coming out of the Brown School community. If you want some suggestions on which ones to check out based on your career interests, contact us at brownadmissions@wustl.edu.

Check out our info sessions: Each year, we lead information sessions on various topics of interest to our applicants. These include introductions to all of our degree programs, funding your degree, tips for your strongest application, field education offerings, current student perspectives, living and working in St. Louis and so much more. You will find all of our past offerings here for your viewing pleasure!

Follow us on social media:  The Brown School has TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts where we share research news, events and student and alumni content. We also have accounts on WeChat that you can follow/add as a friend. Following us on these channels will help you discover new and diverse aspects of our School.
