Although the future of the Affordable Care Act is uncertain, it remains law and most potential changes could take months or years to implement. Helping professionals working with many populations still need to understand the ACA and the requirements it places on individuals and employers, as well as related options for health care coverage. Experts from University of Missouri Extension's Health Insurance Education Initiative will provide an overview of the law, including any recent developments, and offer tools for social workers to use with clients to help them avoid tax penalties, access financial assistance, and better understand health insurance overall.

Class size is limited to 45.

$50 General Admission
$30 Brown School Field Instructor
$10 Full-Time Graduate Student
