Nancy Mueller, MPH
Director, Brown School Evaluation Center
Assistant Dean for Planning & Evaluation, Brown School

Many non-profits struggle with whether to focus on achieving improved outcomes in the communities they serve or on their own organizational performance. However, the two are inextricably linked. High performing organizations achieve more meaningful results for the communities they serve.

During this session you will explore the seven components of high performing non-profits and learn how to assess them using
the Performance Imperative: A Framework for Social Sector Excellence (Marino Institute, 2016). Workshop participants will receive
a copy of the Performance Imperative and the assessment tool for their ongoing use.

Class size is limited to 45.
