Nurturing the health and well-being of children is a shared value in our society. Unfortunately, transgender children and youth
are frequently dismissed, misunderstood or mistreated leading to avoidable negative outcomes for us all. As we expand our understanding of gender as a whole and of transgender people specifically, we contribute to changes that enable people of all genders to thrive.

This workshop will expand participants' knowledge of gender and gender identities while exploring the experiences of transgender children and their families. Other topics will include various forms of transitions and creating gender-inclusive school environments.

Class size is limited to 30.

$50 General Admission
$30 Discounted Admission**
$10 Washington University Full-Time Graduate Students

**Discounted Admission is offered to current Brown School field instructors, Brown School adjunct faculty, recent Brown School graduates (2016-2018), full-time graduate students from other universities, and Washington University faculty and staff.
