Remember taking a statistics class years ago? Do you still remember what those different tests are really for? This workshop is intended for people who would like to strengthen their program evaluation skills, as well as those who would like to be ‘better consumers’ of evaluation research. We will discuss:

  • descriptive statistics
  • correlations
  • chi square and other nonparametric tests
  • t-tests

Learn the conceptual meaning of these tests, how to interpret their results, and how to compute simple statistics using Excel. Class size is limited to 30.
