Registration deadline: January 11th

Katie VonDeLinde, MSW, LCSW
Adjunct Faculty, Brown School

Sometimes even deep breaths, a hot bath, and a walk after work just aren’t enough to combat feelings of burnout
or compassion fatigue.  Social workers who are overwhelmed and stressed may struggle to uphold the core ethical responsibilities of commitment to our clients, respecting client self-determination and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

This workshop will explore the connections between practicing ethical social work and employing evidence-based strategies
to maintain mental, physical, and spiritual health as a helper. Attendees will learn and practice healthy social work skills
and create an individualized healthy social work plan.

Class size is limited to 35.

This class meets the licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in ethics.
