This course will help you enhance your skills and effectiveness when communicating ideas and information to professional and public audiences. Learn to apply specific strategies to achieve simplicity, clarity, engagement and impact. Skills learned in this class can be broadly applied across a range of media and communication-centric activities like presenting, grant writing and teaching to achieve goals in public health, social work and other professions.
This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Class size is limited to 15.
Admission is $400 for your first Summer Institute course and $350 for additional classes.
Individuals registering through Professional Development will not receive academic credit for the class.
This course is offered as part of the Brown School's Summer Institute.
