workshop will explore characteristics of good supervisors and outline the training necessary for staff to effectively take on supervisory responsibilities. Participants will discuss the support that new supervisors need to grow into this role. A model for effective supervision sessions will be shared. The importance of continuing to grow and deepen supervisory skills will be examined, along with strategies for continued improvement of the skill set. Class is limited to 50 participants.
