Organizations are looking to reach younger supporters, and tell their stories in new ways to engage the community in their social, educational, health and environmental programs. Non profits need to pursue efficient fundraising strategies that diversify their income streams from project funding, and also provide useful data about what messages resonate with their supporters.

In this workshop we will look at basic digital fundraising strategies from using social media, to email lists, to holiday campaigns to build a supporter base and raise funds.  We will explore the various metrics and tools development staff can use to measure effectiveness.  We won't discuss crowdfunding or online sales.  This workshop is directed at organizations that already have websites, some social media, and active fundraising, but don’t currently have a fully developed digital strategy.

Participants are asked to bring a laptop to work on.  If you need to request a loaner, please notify us at least one week prior to class by email at profdev@brownschool.wustl.edu

Class size is limited to 40.
