Every day brings change to our clients’ lives.  Some seasons bring more than change – they bring transition, from “life before” to “life after” a significant event or decision.

Whether due to loss of a significant relationship, a change in job or health status, it is natural to feel disoriented in times of transition.  This workshop will provide suggestions for constructively addressing transition in the therapeutic setting. We will consider the ambivalence transition creates, as clients often experience a complicated mix of loss and gain, apprehension and elation. This healthy process of change will be contrasted with adjustment disorder.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 45.
