Accurately diagnosing our clients is an important step towards helping to alleviate their suffering. This workshop will provide recommendations about the best way to approach diagnosing, focusing particularly on areas of the DSM that are frequently confusing to practitioners. We will also discuss implications of the change to ICD 10 codes, which are mandatory as of October 2015.

There will be several small group exercises diagnosing case scenarios with discussion by the class. Participants who have a copy of the DSM-5 (full manual or desk reference) are encouraged to bring it to the workshop. Class size is limited to 50.
