Introduction to Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Effective Interventions with Children

This workshop will provide an introduction to TF-CBT and how it is used. Participants will gain an understanding of complex trauma and learn to use a phased based approach to working with clients suffering from complex trauma.

The class provides an opportunity to learn how to write a trauma narrative and to identify and develop skill managing cognitive distortions. This interactive workshop includes opportunities to practice several concepts of the intervention.
The workshop will focus on applications of TF-CBT in children and teenagers.

Class size is limited to 45.
