This course provides an overview of the financing strategies for developing and operating subsidized housing and will include a discussion of the impact of financing on the community life of a property. The institute will be hands-on, including problem sets (financial analysis using Excel). We will practice skills, applying them to the challenges of developing and managing subsidized properties through the use of analytical case studies.

Proficiency in Excel is required and participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops.

Class size is limited to 35.

This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals.
