Like in most work, in the helping professions, one can tire of the demands of a job’s expectations and lose sight of strategies for purposefully reenergizing. On any other road trip, stops for fuel and food are built in and not overlooked. Building in breaks to make art allows us to explore our strengths and develop creativity.
In this workshop, participants will gain suggestions for enhancing creativity and art making as self-care. Group exercises will be provided to expand your abilities as well as journaling and small group discussion to facilitate learning. An art experiential will also serve to carefully examine your role in one therapeutic relationship.

Class size is limited to 40.
