This course will introduce the STATA statistical software package. Build your basic skills such as opening/importing/exporting data, applying formats, using syntax, creating variables, graphs and more. Statistical analysis techniques will be covered for both continuous and categorical outcome variables, including chi-square, t-tests, and regression.
prior to registering to discuss whether the class is right for you. Exposure to statistics within the last five years is recommended for success in this class. Some assignments will include running statistical tests and interpreting results. If you haven’t had this experience recently, please be in touch with our office at 314-935-7573 or Prerequisites:
Class size is limited to 15.
$650 General admission
$350 Non-profit/government employees (Additional Summer Institute classes)
$400 Non-profit/government employees (1st Summer Institute class)

This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Individuals registering through Professional Development will not receive academic credit for the class.
