Whether you realize it or not, if you are a therapist, you are treating people with eating disorders. Treating someone with an unknown eating disorder can make therapy feel less effective and leave important physical or emotional health concerns unaddressed. This workshop will help you attune to the risk factors, signs, and symptoms to assess clients with potential eating disorders. You will learn some targeted questions to ask, along with techniques to reduce client shame in discussing their eating habits.

The workshop will conclude with a review of the therapeutic interventions available to treat eating disorders and a critique of the evidence behind them.

Class size is limited to 45.

$50 General Admission
