This presentation will provide an overview of anxiety disorders in adults and the corresponding symptoms. We will discuss a range of therapeutic interventions including systematic desensitization, cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure therapy, with a summary of the research evidence for the different types of treatment for each type of anxiety.

The workshop will include lecture, case studies, and experiential exercises drawing from systematic desensitization, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and role playing. Class size is limited to 45.
