Our Intensive Training Institutes, offered periodically throughout the year, provide professionals with opportunities to engage in more in-depth training and practice for a wide range of skills. These courses may take place over the course of a week or weekend, and often involve application of knowledge to facilitate the learning process in such areas as research methods, statistical analysis, therapeutic treatment, community organizing and more.

The certificate in Affordable Housing and Mixed Income Community Management, offered in partnership with NeighborWorks America©, is comprised of three sequential Intensive Training Institute courses.

Brown School faculty have developed online lectures addressing specific areas of social work and public health practice. Videos can be streamed on-demand, so you can learn — and, for select lectures, earn CEUs — at a time and place convenient for you.
