
Callie is a Public Health Sciences PhD candidate and a Research Assistant in Washington University’s Prevention Research Center and Implementation Science Center for Cancer Control. Prior to joining the Brown School, Callie worked as a research specialist at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute after completing her MPH in International Health. Her research interests intersect implementation science, health equity, and chronic disease prevention. Her goal is to integrate a greater focus on health equity and social determinants of health into implementation science methods to improve the equity impact of the field. She aims to improve the delivery and sustainment of chronic disease prevention and control programs across clinical and community settings among marginalized populations to reduce health disparities and improve equitable outcomes. Callie will be joining Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine as faculty in Medical Social Sciences in 2024 upon completing her PhD.
