Many clinicians currently providing telehealth mental health services were likely pushed into this mode of service delivery by the pandemic. Months later, we may have found our stride but still can benefit from examining how best practices in telemental health apply to suicide risk formulation, safety planning, and crisis intervention.
Based on the approach of the Veteran’s Affairs Administration, a global leader in the use of telemental health services and the development of suicide risk assessment best practices, this workshop will cover telehealth best practices in suicide risk formulation and safety planning while also addressing gaps in knowledge related to conducting suicide risk assessments virtually.
This class meets the Missouri requirement for at least 2 CEUs in suicide continuing education each licensure period.
General Admission: $60**
Class size is limited to 50.
**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors.
