Diversity and inclusion are the key ingredients to having a workforce that is highly engaged, productive, and innovative. Without diversity, inclusion does not exist. Without inclusion, employee engagement does not exist.
In this program, you will learn best practices and people strategies for creating a workplace that goes beyond diversity to foster inclusion and high levels of employee engagement. Additionally, unconscious bias, the psychological mechanisms underlying it, and the negative impact it produces will be examined. Finally, participants will receive tips on how to evaluate your organization’s level of inclusiveness and address issues stemming from unconscious bias.
This workshop meets the Missouri & Illinois social work licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in cultural competency/humility.
