This workshop is designed to help you improve your skills in partnering with survivors of domestic violence. Join us and engage in activities to explore the implications of intimate partner violence across a range of cultural contexts. We will practice strategies for cultural self-reflection, honoring the complex experiences of cultural diversity and identity. Learn to understand your clients’ risks better, how to strengthen their natural supports and techniques to work together to forge creative safety strategies.

This workshop meets the Missouri & Illinois social work licensure requirement for 3 hours of continuing education in cultural competency/humility.
