This course focuses on key project management competencies critical to executing successful projects. Participants will learn strategies for planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling projects and will apply these concepts using case studies and small group projects.

The course will consist of daily live Zoom webinars from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Central Time), and additional course material in Canvas.

Class size is limited to 25.

$450 Non-profit/government employees (1st Summer Institute class)
$400 Non-profit/government employees (Additional Summer Institute classes)

This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Individuals registering through Professional Development will receive continuing education units – but not academic credit – for the class.

About the Instructor:

Sarah Buek

Sarah founded The IllumiLab (as Insight Partners Consulting) in 2016 after having worked in the non-profit sector as a family therapist, program manager, quality improvement manager, grant-maker, and capacity-builder. Throughout her career, Sarah’s been driven toward increasing effectiveness, efficiency, and impact. She believes that, as mission-minded professionals who are drawn into this work in order to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people and struggling communities, we cannot afford to waste time, energy, information, opportunities, or resources. Sarah is passionate about making the tools and processes of reflection and learning accessible, intuitive, and energizing.
