Social workers walk alongside grieving clients on a regular basis. Grief is a natural human response to loss, and it can be overwhelming for clients and practitioners who find themselves yearning for answers and relief. This workshop will expand participants’ knowledge of grief theories and frameworks, discuss practical applications and techniques to better support adult clients, and learn how to create a grief care plan. We will use a combination of lectures, clinical experiences, small group discussions, and individual reflection activities.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 45.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
