Rates of anxiety and depression among young people in the US were already reaching alarming levels, and there is emerging evidence that disruptions through the pandemic only made the situation worse. In this workshop, we will identify the prevalence rates and current trends regarding rates of anxiety and depression in youth. Participants will build their skills at accurately identifying anxiety and depressive symptoms in youth at various stages of development. We will apply cognitive-behavioral principles to implement evidence-based case formulations and discuss the implications for community-based settings like schools as well as therapy settings.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 50.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available.
