Learn how to utilize Microsoft Excel for organizing, analyzing, and reporting program data – beyond simple formulas and charts. The workshop is designed for people familiar with the most basic functions of Excel but inexperienced with its advanced features. We will discuss when Excel is appropriate as a data management and reporting tool, best practices for use, and how to take full advantage of features, such as data validation, conditional formatting, VLookup, pivot tables, and graphics.
The workshop will begin with a brief overview of Excel basics and end with a quick demonstration of more advanced functions, such as macros and dashboard reports, and will provide resources for further learning. Course materials and live demonstrations will use Excel 2016 on a Windows PC.
This is a hands-on workshop, and participants will need to bring their own laptops equipped with Microsoft Excel. This self-assessment can help you determine whether this class will be helpful to you.
General Admission: $60**
