One of the most important components of suicide risk assessment is structuring a safety plan that truly functions to prevent suicide.
An increasing body of evidence is pointing to the critical role of effective and comprehensive suicide safety planning as a key ingredient in preventing suicide. For providers, we are often faced with decisions on how best to support individuals at risk for suicide while simultaneously ensuring safety. This workshop is designed to integrate evidence and best practices into the safety planning process to produce a plan that is collaborative, functional, and preventative.
This class meets the Missouri requirement for at least 2 CEUs in suicide continuing education each licensure period.
General Admission: $60**
Class size is limited to 45.
