Non-pharmacological interventions are recommended as the first line of support for individuals living with mild to moderate memory loss, yet research to support these interventions is not widely available and few community-based programs exist.

This workshop reviews evidence-based and evidence-informed interventions including peer-support, disease education, psychotherapy, Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, Reminiscence Therapy, and Montessori for Dementia, in an effort to prepare dementia-capable practitioners and expand programming to enhance the quality of life of this population.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 45.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
