The paradox of poverty amid plenty has plagued the United States throughout the 21st century – why should the wealthiest country in the world also have the highest rates of poverty among the industrialized nations? Based upon the ideas in his latest book, Mark Rank will explore the answers to this paradox. He will outline a unique explanation that he has developed over the years, along with ideas and strategies for addressing poverty.
