Schedule a Personalized Visit
Learn more about the Brown School community and get tips on the application process by scheduling a visit! When you are ready to request a visit, click the button below labeled “Schedule Your Visit.”
Virtual Visits
Connect with members of the Brown School community from a laptop or mobile device. We can arrange for you to talk with a representative from the Office of Admissions & Recruitment, the Office of Field Education, and/or a current Brown School student. Most meetings are scheduled via Zoom, but you may also have the option to schedule a phone call. All virtual visits are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 am – 4:30 pm CT.
In-Person Visits
Get to know our campus-within-a-campus by attending a tour of the Brown School. While you’re on campus, you’ll also have the option to schedule an in-person meeting with an admissions representative and/or current Brown School student. In-person visits are held on Fridays and must be scheduled in advance.
Please know that we may need at least a week’s lead time to meet your scheduling request(s).

In-Person Information Sessions are hosted by the Office of Admissions & Recruitment at select times throughout the year. These sessions give prospective students the opportunity to visit campus, meet members of the Brown School community and learn about our program offerings.

Tips for Incoming International Students
Friday, March 22 from 9 – 10 am – REGISTER NOW
This is a session for international students admitted to the Master of Social Work (MSW), Master of Public Health (MPH), and Master of Social Policy (MSP) programs at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis for Fall 2024. Join the Office of Global Programs and the Office of Admissions and Recruitment to learn more about the international student experience and gain tips on next steps for enrolling in the Brown School, including information about completing the Affidavit of Financial Support needed for obtaining an I-20, navigating the visa application process, managing finances and student loans, and more.

The Brown School is a launching pad for changemakers and innovators. Our graduates go on to do incredible work that transforms lives in their neighborhoods and across nations. Unpacking Organizational Strategy

Human service organizations are admonished to “be strategic.” But what does that mean? In this class with Barry Rosenberg, we will examine the purpose, elements and development of organizational strategy to achieve sustainable mission performance. We will review a fascinating case study describing the strategic journey of a nonprofit agency serving children with developmental disabilities.
